Arcadis appoints intelligent buildings expert
Arcadis has announced a new partnership with ICONICS, intelligent buildings software specialists, and appointed Matthew Marson as Regional Sector Director of Manufacturing & Technology as the company increases its expertise in intelligent buildings.
Working as ecosystem partners, ICONICS and Arcadis will support clients with either altering their existing buildings or creating new intelligent buildings, to bring something that transforms how buildings are experienced and operated.
Marson joins Arcadis from WSP where he founded the Smart Places practice and he sits on CIBSE’s Intelligent Buildings Group. He was a co-author in the Encyclopaedia of Sustainable Technologies.
Marson implemented ICONICS solution at Accenture’s The Dock – the world’s most connected building – and the solution will be embedded in Arcadis’ UK headquarters.
Commenting on his new role, Marson said: “I’m very excited to join Arcadis and look forward to further exploring the role we can take in supporting British manufacturers in adapting to 4th industrial revolution (4IR) technologies and how we lead green recovery with measures that deliver and prove Net Zero Carbon. By bolstering our intelligent buildings agenda, we’re going to be able to provide our clients with insights they’ve never had before”
